Disneyland Trip

Ok guys, we had the most fun vacation of like all time!

Disneyland has always been magical for me,
but let me tell you that it was even MORE magical going with my daughter.
Now, yes she's only 7 months but let me tell you, she LOVED it!
All the sounds, people, and tons to look at!
What baby wouldn't be happy??

Rory met Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, Alice and the Mad Hatter,
Queen of Hearts, Dale, Aurora, Jasmine, Snow White, Merida, Rapunzel and Flynn,
Sully, Tinkerbell, Periwinkle, and Jake from Jake and the Neverland Pirates.
My most magical moment was watching Rory interact with Aurora ;)
I stood to the side and pretty much cried like a small child hahaha
it was my dream come true and it was amazing!
We waited for the princesses and when I saw that Aurora was coming,
I about died from happiness.
We told Aurora what Rory's name was and she took her from my arms,
sat her in her lap and just talked to her!
Rory chatted right back to her and loved her pretty dress too ;)
After she met Aurora, I was still trying to recover my senses,
she met Snow White and Jasmine hahaha
she tried to take a bunch of Jasmine's jewels off her cape ;)
Prepare for a picture overload!

Grandma reading the sign to her:
"Here you leave today
and enter the world of yesterday,
tomorrow, and fantasy."

Dale also played peek-a-boo with her ;)

"I'm already tired of standing in line guys....
I'm just gonna take a nap" ;)

She loved Donald's bill!

Pluto showed her how to play with the whiskers for the record...

That's a really happy face I promise,
she squealed in delight when Minnie gave her a kiss ;)

Most of us,
the engaged ones left to go ride rides hahaha

This spot is where Andrew proposed to me 2 1/2 years ago that day ;)
We finally have proof of the spot with both of us haha

Rory made friends with a cute little girl in line for Merida
(from Brave)

She was grabbing Merida's hair pretty much the whole time hahaha
I was so scared she was gonna pull off the wig and
traumatize the other kids in line!

Waiting for Aurora!!

This face is my favorite!!!
She was so nice to Rory, it melted my heart!
You see my feet in the corners there?
I had to be sure I was out of frame cuz I was crying haha

Kisses from Goofy too!!
The poor guy was barely keeping it together he was laughing so hard
since she was pulling his whiskers and talking to him!

MICKEY!!!

I'M SO EXCITED!!!

And she got her first pair of ears ;)

She got to go on the Little Mermaid ride like 6 times that day hahaha
and she loved it!

See the dinglehopper?!?!
I didn't buy it, but it's cool right??

Jessie and the new Cars ride!
I didn't know they took your picture!

So excited!!

Jake from Jake and the Neverland Pirates
(apparently it's on Disney Junior)

Grandma's favorite: SULLY!!

I danced with 1920s Mickey on Buena Vista Street!
And he liked my I Am Fenwick shirt!

I said "Come closer for a picture!!"
and pretty much unbalanced him haha

Andrew and I
(and my mom and dad at another table)
celebrated our anniversary with dinner at the Blue Bayou
(our anniversary was on Dec 16th, and my parents was on Dec 29th)
We got a free dessert cuz we ended up having to wait about 30 minutes for our table,
and the hostesses felt really bad.
They also gave us a "fast pass" to any attraction except Matterhorn
for up to 6 people that we used the next day to take Rory on Peter Pan ;)

Awww a heart on Space Mountain ;)

Periwinkle and Tinkerbell!
My soon-to-be sister-in-law LOVES Tinkerbell,
and thanks to a very nice cast member named Nadia
she finally got to meet her after waiting for hours on all three days ;)

Oh my gosh Rapunzel and Flynn!
They were ADORABLE with her!
They sat with her for like 5-6 minutes I kid you not.
I had to drag her out and they still followed me hahaha

Playing with her water fountain!

Rory loved all the windows at the Emporium,
but liked the dancing Aurora and Phillip the most ;)

This was hanging by the bathroom at the Shakey's Pizza right by Disneyland!
I died!

On Thursday we went and saw Peter Pan at the El Capitan
and let me tell you, it was AMAZING!
Seeing it on the big screen was sooo cool!
And Rory had a mini-meltdown,
but when Andrew and my dad took her upstairs she was better and took a nap ;)

All in all,
it was a great vacation and my little princess did GREAT!
She even got 2 new teeth and waited til we got home to freak out about it ;)
That's my girl!

Thanks mom and dad for the GREAT Christmas present!!

  3. What a fun trip! I've only been to Disneyland once in my life, and that was on our honeymoon. We hope to go back though of course!
